An Evolving Exhibition

We thank you, from the heart, to all who came out to the opening of The Complexity of Things and celebrated our one year anniversary with us. And it's a good thing that you came out to the opening because this is an evolving show. As I write here we are discussing the relationships between our work and it's relationship to the space. We may work back into what is presently up, hang new work, or work into each others work. We look forward to seeing you at our closing come February 18. The Complexity of Things opens January 21st at Forum Artspace

The Complexity of Things is a four person group show whose work is tied together via the theme of relationships. Living in the twenty-first century can be synonymous with constant information bombardment. We continuously have to parse and interpret what we see, hear, and experience. This exhibition takes a moment to step back and examine the hows and whys of this process. Whether focusing on the relational interpretation in abstract language or the way we decipher and build meaning from images, The Complexity of Things focuses on the contemporary position of the global culture.
